Current Fees
Our current fees for child care services at BLC are listed below.
Membership
Once your child is offered a space, a $25.00 per child non-refundable fee is required upon acceptance of the space. This fee is a one-time charge and provides you with your membership at BLC while your child is actively attending the centre, as well as offsetting the costs for your security key fobs, family account set up and new child registration.
Security Deposit
Once your child is offered a space, a refundable security deposit of $250.00 per child is required upon acceptance of the space. This security deposit will be returned to you once your child leaves the centre and all key fobs have been returned.
Monthly Child Care Fees
Butterfly Learning Centre has opted into the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program (CWELCC). Childcare fees will be reduced for children 6 and under in phases set out by the Ministry of Education.
Fees at BLC were reduced by 25% in December 2022 with families being reimbursed 25% of their fees paid from April 2022 to November 2022 either by a credit to their childcare account or by cheque. In January 2023 childcare fees were reduced by an additional 37% bringing the total reduction to 52.75%.
Fee were once again reduced in January 2025 to $22.00/ day regardless of the age.
Butterfly Learning Centre and the Board of Directors reserve the right to choose to opt out the Canada Wide Early Learning and Childcare Program. If this choice is made, a notice of 30 days will be given to inform families of our change in participation and changes to fees.
