BLC is a non-profit, charitable organization. We depend on our generous community to help us keep our fees affordable.
If your company would like to make a corporate donation to Butterfly, please contact us at info@butterflylearningcentre.com. In many cases, BLC is able to issue a charitable tax receipt for donations.
In order to maintain a reasonable program fee for all families, our current fees cover the operating expenses of the Centre. The rest of BLC’s expenses must be met through fundraising efforts. BLC runs approximately 5 fundraisers throughout the year (Examples: selling popcorn or chocolate bars, photo days and poinsettias sales) . We appreciate parent support and participation in these fundraisers!
Every year in June, BLC hosts a Year-End Celebration and Family Fun Fair. This event is a great chance to have fun together while supporting Butterfly.
BLC happily accepts donations of gently used clothing (especially in larger sizes – 4+) and books. All used items should be clean, from smoke-free homes, and in good conditions. Unfortunately we do not take donations of stuffed animals or any plastic toys manufactured prior to 2011.
